If you’ve accidentally added or matched a bank transaction in the banking screen it will have disappeared from your ‘For Review’ screen. You can undo it by following the process below.
Undo Transaction
Within the banking screen the default tab that should be open is the ‘For Review’ tab. To undo a transaction, click on ‘In Quickbooks’, find the transaction that you wish to undo and click ‘Undo’ on the right hand side of it.
Once you’ve done that, click on the ‘For Review’ tab and the transaction should reappear for you to add/match correctly.
Delete Transaction
If you are finding it hard to find the transaction that you want to undo you an use the following method that gives you a better ‘search’ functionality.
Within the banking screen:
Click ‘Go to Account history’ on the right hand side
Click the funnel symbol just above the date & enter the search criteria
Find the payment
Click on the payment, click ‘Delete’ & then ‘Yes’
Once you’ve done that, click on the ‘For Review’ tab and the transaction should reappear for you to add/match correctly.
